【About the vintage materials】
The earrings feature vintage glass pieces that once adorned antique chandeliers.
Even after decades, the glass retains its clarity and radiance, preserving the delicate cuts and handwork of the artisans who shaped it.

The most striking element is the pale green glass that shimmers with a faint inner glow.
It was crafted using Pâte de verre, a French glassmaking technique in which powdered glass is packed into a mold and carefully fired.
Highly favored during the late 19th–early 20th century Art Nouveau era, this delicate method is still used today in artistic glass and fine jewelry.

In 19th-century French workshops, broken or leftover glass—called groisil— was melted down again to create new material.
This green glass piece was born from that tradition: fragments produced during the Pâte de verre process, melted once more and transformed anew.

Layered with history and color, the glass carries both transparency and depth— as though it gently holds the passage of time within it.
